Mr. Stuart Colothan

Stuart is the Chief Executive Officer of Learning Together Trust and brings extensive experience of senior leadership within primary education. Prior to his current role, Stuart served as Headteacher and Executive Headteacher of St. Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary Academy, a larger-than-average, high-performing primary school, for more than 10 years. Under his leadership, the school was graded ‘Outstanding in all areas’ by Ofsted in 2022. The school was also recognised nationally and regionally, receiving ‘Leadership Team of the Year’ at the North West Educate Awards in 2022 and ‘Primary School of the Year’ at the Wigan and Leigh Education Awards in 2019.

Stuart holds the National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership (NPQEL) and is a member of the Strategic Board at Edge Hill University. He has a strong commitment to the professional development of others and is passionate about supporting colleagues throughout their career journey, from initial teacher training through to school leadership. His particular strengths lie in strategic leadership, securing high standards and developing a culture of ambition, success and continuous improvement for all.

Outside of education, Stuart has a passion for football and enjoys both watching and coaching the game. He has managed elite academy teams at Tranmere Rovers and Blackburn Rovers, providing him with further experience of developing talent, building high-performing teams and supporting individuals to achieve their potential.

Mrs. Rose Crompton

Rose is Finance and Operations Director for Learning Together Trust, leading all support services across the Trust and managing the Trust Finance Officer. Rose has an extensive range of comprehensive business leadership skills, including financial management, business management, HR management and project management, developed from a range of senior roles in public services, including the NHS and Law Enforcement. Rose is an experienced finance professional, having worked in education finance roles since 2002.

Rose initially trained as a bursar, becoming a School Business Manager in 2008, and then a CFOO in the academies sector in 2013. Rose is a full member of AAT and a part-qualified member of CIMA. She has completed a range of qualifications through the Institute of School Business Leadership, most recently achieving the CIPFA Diploma in School Financial and Operational Leadership. Rose leads on all aspects of academy conversion and ensures that new schools joining the Trust are fully supported throughout the conversion process.

Outside of work, Rose has served on Governing Bodies and Interim Executive Boards for schools and she is currently a Founding Member of Community First Academy Trust.

Mrs. Leanne Morgan-Hillam

Leanne is Head of School Improvement for Learning Together Trust. She works across all of the schools within the Trust, with a primary focus on 'Quality of Education'. Leanne leads the Trust's School Improvement Teams, in addition to facilitating other collaborative networks, including moderation, year group and subject leadership, both within and beyond the Trust schools. Leanne is an ECT facilitator for Teach First and is also the Induction Tutor for all ECTs and Mentors within the Trust.

Leanne holds the National Professional Qualification in Leading Teacher Development and regularly delivers research-informed and evidence-based training to school staff. Leanne is an experienced school leader, having worked in senior leadership roles for over 16 years, prior to joining the Learning Together Trust Central Team.

Her passion lies with supporting teachers to become the best that they can be, ensuring all flourish, within and beyond the classroom. This is achieved through her strength of developing positive relationships, encouraging, enabling and empowering others, and leading by example.

Leanne enjoys listening to music and educational podcasts outside of work.

Mr. Mike Rigby

Mike is Head of System Leadership for Learning Together Trust. He provides additional leadership capacity at schools within the Trust, ensuring that systems, structures and policies are compliant and effectively implemented. Mike collaborates with leaders to drive a range of school and Trust initiatives, in areas such as behaviour, attendance and safeguarding.

Mike has completed the NCETM accreditation for Professional Development Leadership, and works with North West Maths Hub 3 as a Primary Mastery Specialist, providing support for leaders and teachers to implement the principles of mastery within their mathematics curriculum. Mike also holds the Church of England 'Making a Difference' Christian Leadership Qualification.

Prior to joining the Learning Together Trust Central Team, Mike held senior leadership positions at three 'Outstanding' schools, over a 12-year period. Mike's particular strength is his ability to motivate and inspire leaders at all levels, ensuring that staff and children thrive across the Trust.

Outside of work, Mike is a qualified rugby coach and volunteers at a local club as part of their junior section.

Mrs. Angelina Hollingshead

Angelina is Finance Officer for Learning Together Trust, having undertaken many roles and responsibilities within a school setting. Angelina supports all schools within the Trust with both purchase and sales ledger. She is proficient in the use of IRIS Financials and ParentPay, providing support and advice to Office Managers in individual academies. Angelina competently manages income collection for the Trust Trading Subsidiary and advises Headteachers on any outstanding debt.

Angelina fosters good relationships with all stakeholders.
